Christmas Joy & Security Boost for 500+ in Ekiti
As the festive season brought communities together in celebration, the Rabi and Raphael Care Foundation extended a powerful hand of compassion to vulnerable populations in Òkè-Àkò, Ekiti State.
Their 2025 Christmas outreach touched the lives of over 500 beneficiaries, delivering not only essential supplies but also renewed hope and reinforced security across the region.
Bringing Festive Relief to Widows and Families
The Foundation’s outreach prioritized those most in need, providing targeted support to 140 widows in Òkè-Àkò alongside hundreds more individuals in neighboring communities. Through the distribution of food palliatives and essential relief materials, the initiative directly addressed the heightened economic pressures vulnerable groups often face during festive periods.
This intervention went beyond material support—it embodied the core values of compassion, dignity, and shared community responsibility that guide the Foundation’s mission. By focusing on sustainable humanitarian and empowerment-driven programs, the organization continues to build pathways toward long-term welfare improvement for widows, the elderly, and other underserved populations.
Strengthening Community Security Infrastructure
In a significant parallel initiative, the Foundation contributed to enhancing grassroots security by commissioning the newly renovated Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Office in Òkè-Àkò. This upgrade is designed to improve operational effectiveness and enable better security coordination throughout the community.
To further bolster safety and rapid response capabilities, the Foundation also donated four motorcycles to support patrols, surveillance, and access to hard-to-reach areas within Òkè-Àkò and surrounding environments.
